Perhaps you have seen several signs advertising used golf carts for sale but have paid them no attention because you are not a golfer. However though you do have a large piece of property and your knees just are not quite, what they used to be. Then consider purchasing a golf cart just to get around your property. You do not need anything new or fancy and you can choose between an electric golf cart and perhaps one of the older gas golf carts. Our personal favorite is the Yamaha Golf Cart.

You may even find good use for it to take you into town if you are a country person. In our area, it is common to see two or three seniors out for a Sunday drive on their golf carts. It is the perfect solution for those who cannot or do not drive a motor vehicle to get around. They are actually more controllable than scooters in many ways. I certainly would not suggest then for rough terrain but they do pretty well on the hills and valleys of the golf course.

In some places, though there are specific rules about golf carts off the golf course. You will have to check your state rules to see what is applicable in your particular area. There may be various modifications done to them to pass the rules or perhaps you will have to purchase one specifically made for this purpose. In any event, it is well worth looking into if not for this then at least your golfing pleasure.
